Cargill Flavor Systems has a need for a Sr Professional Level HR Generalist to support their North America operations out of their Cincinnati, OH main office. This position is directly involved in many aspects of embedded HR activities and assists in executing the HR Delivery Model for the BU Cargill Flavors Systems in the North American region (US, Puerto Rico and Canada). Responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum of generalist activities, both strategic and processed oriented. This position manages HR activities ensuring the following: plans are developed and executed to support the business strategy; all policies, plans, procedures, and actions comply with Cargill's HR requirements and best practices; and collaborate with HR Shared Services in an appropriate and effective manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
35% Ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR services including total compensation, performance management, workforce planning, Leadership & Talent Management, employee engagement, valuing differences, and employee development. Leverage appropriate corporate resources, including HR Shared Services, and act as liaison between the BU and those resources.
20% Assist, advise, and coach CFS NA leadership, managers, and employees with day-to-day HR needs and issues.
20% Forecast people requirements to support the BU's strategic objectives to include succession planning, leadership development, diversity hiring and retention strategies, career planning, engagement, and long & short term staffing plans.
20% Work with the HR team and CFS NA Leadership to develop and implement proactive, innovative and customer-oriented HR solutions to help the BU achieve their objectives and strategy.
5% Work with the HR team to ensure we are effectively and efficiently managing employee data which will include managing databases, employee files, generating reports and any other aspects of data management that may arise.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements |
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 5 years + human resources mangement/leadership experience OR advanced degree in a related field (MBA with HR emphasis or MAHR/IR) plus 3 years HR management/leadership experience.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively create and tailor communication (written and verbal) to inform, persuade, influence or recognize employees and managers at various levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated passion to engage and willingness to constructively challenge the status quo and champion growth and change.
* Significant experience in one or more of the following areas: compensation, recruiting and selection, training & development or organization effectiveness.
* Strong customer focus and service orientation; business partnering skills.
* Ability to analyze data to identify and communicate trends and progress. Working knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
* Willingness to travel as needed (30%) and work flexible hours.
* Comprehensive knowledge of US labor law and employment practices.
* Demonstrated track record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences.
