Description

Provide Information Technology (IT) maintenance and support for Hägglunds Drives, Inc. N.A.; primarily, Latin American and South American facilities. Maintain network integrity and security for Latin America and South America. Perform systems administrator functions for LAN/WAN environment. Provide training for IT Latin American and South American users on all applicable computer software.

1.Perform daily operations of LAN/WAN.
2.Perform daily, monthly, and yearly network data backup.
3.Create and secure monthly SCALA data backups for archiving purposes.
4.Troubleshoot hardware and software problems experienced by IT users and systems.
5.Maintain Microsoft Exchange e-mail system integrity and availability.
6.Manage and implement software installations (clients and servers).
7.Coordinate and monitor Internet connections for remote offices.
8.Monitor and maintain remote office VPN connections.
9.Develop, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery Plan.
10.Maintain network integrity and security.
11.Source and recommend IT hardware, upgrades, and software.
12.Provide tutorials for IT users on basic desktop applications usage.
13.Develop and administer IT training on the use of advanced software usage.
14.Ensure maintenance programs are in place for hardware and software.
15.Maintain IT asset control and maintenance logs.
16.Maintain software licensing and ensure compliance.
17.Maintain and monitor Hägglunds telephone network.
18.Provide after hours maintenance and emergency network assistance.
19.Coordinate and execute special projects and turnkey solutions.
20.Travel to remote Hägglunds facilities when necessary.
21.Work overtime or after core-business hours as required to meet project goals/objectives.


Requirements

EDUCATION:
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

EXPERIENCE:
*One (1) to three (3) years as computer technician and/or computer helpdesk.
*Three (3) to five (5) years administering NT/2000 networks.
*Three (3) to five (5) years of database management.

CERTIFICATIONS:
*Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or better
*CompTia A+ certification
*Certified Network Administrator (CAN) or better
*Windows NT Training Certificate

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
*Bilingual in Spanish; able to speak, translate, and communicate effectively in Spanish.
*Exemplary computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Aptitude in multi-tasking/organizational skills.
*Work well under demanding timelines and in high-urgency situations.
*Great at developing and maintaining customer relationships both internal and external.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
*Office environment with cubicles and closed offices;
*Temperature controlled office with fluorescent lighting and nominal noise level; and
*Shop/production floor with ventilation, moderate lighting, and moderate noise level.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to effectively perform the following on a frequent basis:
*Move, sit, hear, discern, speak, and see;
*Use finger dexterity to type, adjust, move, handle, perform, operate, install, attach, remove, apply, grasp, manipulate, and measure;
*Frequently move, transport, rotate, reach, pull, adjust position, and push;
*Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch; and
*Lift a minimum of ten (10) to fifty (50) pounds.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
*Ability to travel to remote Hägglunds' facilities.
*Possession of a valid driver's license.
*Ability to travel internationally.
