Description

The Manager Radiology Informatics is responsible for analyzing business needs, defining requirements, developing solutions, implementing systems, and managing installed applications in support of assigned Radiology areas and customers. The Manager serves as a customer liaison for assigned business areas to assist customers with all areas of information technology support. The manager provides mentoring and leadership for staff by providing input and feedback on staff performance, assisting with resource planning, and delegating work. The manager is expected to set the example in performing all job duties.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Experience in providing systems analysis in health care environments preferred.

* Bachelor Degree in related Computer Science areas or equivalent experience required.

* Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills required to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts.

* Excellent project management skills required with a minimum of 2 years project management experience preferred.

* Strong skills in use of PC desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project.

* Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; requires occasional after-hours support and overnight travel.
